Meg grew up in East Dixfield as the 8th generation at Hall Farms, which is an organic dairy farm, milking 40 Holsteins. Around the farm Meg’s family also raises beef cattle, as well as tap close to 7,200 sugar maple trees. While still in school, she would work summers and week nights around the farm doing a handful of different tasks. After graduating from Mt. Blue High School, she followed her passion for animals and attended the University of Connecticut to receive an A.S. degree in Animal Science. Following an internship at Eastern States Exposition in the Agricultural Education Department, she returned to the Farmington area and started her journey here at FRVC. Meg wishes to continue her education and undergo a degree in veterinary medicine. In her free time, Meg loves to travel around the country showing cattle. She has been to several national shows in Denver, Colorado and Louisville, Kentucky. Along with these experiences, Meg has claimed numerous champion titles at local and national levels.
