Dr. Taylor Matthews was raised in the Ottawa Valley in Ontario, Canada. He attended undergraduate studies at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia before moving to Phoenix, AZ and completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Midwestern University.

After graduation, Dr. Matthews and his family moved to Farmington, Maine after falling in love with the beautiful town and country side.

Dr. Matthews grew up working on dairy farms and ranches around the Ottawa Valley and is interested in mixed animal medicine.

Outside of work Dr. Matthews loves the outdoors, camping, hiking and canoeing with his wife and dog.
